Event Description

So sorry but with only 2 RSVPs I will have to cancel this event. If anyone still wants to attend I suggest you all message each other via the website.

Come bowl with us! No experience necessary and no athletic skills required. We will, however, need you to have a good time which should be easy as everything from strikes to gutter balls are fun. (Please note this is a MEMBER ONLY event. Pay your NJP dues before attending.)

What to bring:
Although not required, feel free to bring bowling shoes and/or a bowling ball.

Cost until 5pm:
$4.25 per game per person or $25 per hour per lane (up to 6 people).
$3.50 Shoe Rental
Plus tax.

Schedule:
2:30 Meet up and divide into teams
3-5 Bowl
5:00 Gather after bowling and head to TGI Friday’s (1315 Centennial Ave.)

NJP Host:
We are looking for TWO hosts! Email info@NJProfessionals.org if you can host.
As a host you will help create the teams and collect the money.

Post-Event:
Following bowling, at approximately 5:30pm, we will meet at TGI Friday’s at 1315 Centennial Ave. (in the Lowe’s/Walmart Shopping Center) in Piscataway. [TGI Friday’s phone number is: 732-465-0101.]

How to Find the Group:
Meet by the staff counter where you get your shoes and pay for bowling.
Look for an NJP sign.

From MORRISTOWN/SOMERVILLE:
Take Route 287 to Exit 5. Keep right on the exit to Stelton Road/CR-529 South.
After 1.7 miles, Stelton Lanes will be on your left. [Across from Fairway Golf Center]

From GS PARKWAY:
Take GS Parkway to Exit 129 (exit 127 if coming from the south).
Follow signs carefully to RT-440 South/West (aka I-287 North).
Take Exit 5 (approx. 5 minutes). Keep left on the exit to Stelton Road/CR-529 South.
After 1.7 miles, Stelton Lanes will be on your left. [Across from Fairway Golf Center]

From US1:
Take Route 1 to Plainfield Ave (CR-529 North).
After 2.6 miles, Stelton Lanes will be on your right.

From NJTPK:
Take Turnpike Exit 11 to I-287 North
Take Exit 5 (approx. 5 minutes). Keep left on the exit to Stelton Road/CR-529 South.
After 1.7 miles, Stelton Lanes will be on your left. [Across from Fairway Golf Center]

Comment by Ronald Signorino on April 16, 2011 at 8:13pm: Sad to see it cancelled, but agree that more 'Will Attend' RSVPs are needed earlier for adequate event planning. Most 'Maybes' unfortunately turn out to be 'Not Attending', I know from experience with another group, and thus cannot be counted on. In that other group we don't even allow 'Maybe' responses, it's YES or NO, and a minimum YES count by a certain date. Anyway... enjoy the weekend, everyone!

We can't save a lane for just 2 people but maybe with 4 it would have been possible. I hope you all can meetup up still; you can message members via their Walls. Email me if you are not sure how to do this.

PS, this had NOTHING to do with hosting.. it had to do with 2 people on a 6 person bowling lane.

I have offered to host events and have never been contacted. I would have been willing to take over the hosting of this event. And, we can only send messages to a person if we are "friends".
